PACC Organizes “Unlock Thailand” Activity to Build Confidence among Investors and Foreigners in Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province.

On Tuesday, 16 September 2025, at 09.00 hrs., the Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) assigned Mr. Chonsawat Prasatkrukan, Director of the Office of the Secretary-General, PACC, to preside over the opening ceremony of the sub-activity Unlock Thailand. The event was organized under the Public Relations Program of the Public Service Center for Investors and Foreigners, as part of the Project to Promote Good Governance and the Engagement of the Private Sector and Investors in Preventing Corruption and Misconduct for Fiscal Year 2025.
On this occasion, Mr. Chonsawat Prasatkrukan also delivered a keynote address on the topic “Unlock Thailand” to publicize the role and mission of the Public Service Center for Investors and Foreigners as a mechanism for filing complaints in cases of unfair treatment or grievances arising from the conduct of government officials or agencies. The activity further aims to enhance the confidence and trust of entrepreneurs, investors, and foreign nationals in the performance of the PACC.
The event was attended by more than 70 participants, including representatives from government agencies, the private sector, investors, foreigners in Koh Samui, and PACC officials, at The Fair House Beach Resort & Hotel, Koh Samui District, Surat Thani Province.
The program featured:
1. A panel discussion on “Unlock Thailand: Enhancing Public Services to Build Confidence and Trust among Investors and Foreigners ”;
2. A discussion on “Policies and Measures to Prevent Conflicts of Interest and Corruption in the Public Sector”; and
3. Group activities and lessons learned from seminars with the private sector and investors to promote good governance and participation in preventing corruption and misconduct within the jurisdiction of PACC Regional Offices in Fiscal Year 2025.
This initiative aims to strengthen cooperative networks between the public and private sectors and to ensure that the knowledge gained can be applied to proactive anti-corruption measures, thereby enhancing both efficiency and effectiveness.
