President of the PACC, Mr. Amnat Puangchompoo, Participated in the Panel Discussion on “Corruption-Free World?: Is ‘Suppression’ or ‘Controlling’ the Solution?”

On August 14, 2025, Mr. Amnat Puangchompoo, President of Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), was honored to participate as a speaker in the panel discussion titled “Corruption-Free World?: Is ‘Suppression’ or ‘Controlling’ the Solution?”. The event was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Somkid Sukbang, Grand Chamberlain to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, and Mr. Adisak Tantiwong, President of the Court of Appeal. The event was attended by 180 participants from various justice-related agencies, including the courts, prosecutors, police, the Lawyers' Council, the prison service, the Enforcement Office, the Probation Office, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), and local administrative offices. The event took place at the Classic Kameo Hotel, Ayutthaya, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
This project was organized by the Innovation and Justice Development Division, Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Case, Region 1. The program included a lecture on the topic “Corruption: What Everyone Needs to Know”, presented by Mr. Surapol Sukajaskul, Senior Judge at the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Case, Region 1, Mr. Natthakorn Phichayapanittham, Secretary of the Court of Appeals, Region 9, and Ms. Wannaporn Kiattrattanachai, Legal Officer at the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases, Region 1.
The panel discussion titled “Corruption-Free World?: Is ‘Suppression’ or ‘Controlling’ the Solution?” featured prominent speakers including Professor (Special) Jaran Pukditanakul, former Judge of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Athikom Intuputi, Senior Judge at the Supreme Court, and Mr. Amnat Puangchompoo, President of the PACC. The session was moderated by Ms. Supajee Rungroj, Chief Judge of the Juvenile and Family Court, Lopburi Province.
The aim of the event was to provide participants with updated knowledge from international experts, enabling them to apply the insights gained to improve the effectiveness of their own work within their respective agencies.
