PACC Collaborated with Public and Private Sectors to Drive Forward Urgent "Quick Win" Projects Aimed at Raising Thailand's CPI Score.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 9:00 A.M., the Secretary-General of the PACC assigned Pol.Lt.Col. Siripong Sritula, Assistant Secretary-General of the PACC, Acting Deputy Secretary-General, to preside over the opening of the third "Quick Win" initiative to drive urgent projects aimed at improving Thailand's Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) score.

The event featured a special lecture titled “The Power of Partnership: Collaboration for Transparent Organizations”, aimed at fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the PACC and its partner agencies from both the public and private sectors. This collaborative effort is expected to lead to better integration in anti-corruption initiatives and sustainable solutions to corruption issues in Thailand. The event took place at Avani Ratchada Hotel, Ratchadaphisek Road, Bangkok.

Additionally, the Secretary-General of the PACC held discussions with representatives from participating partner organizations, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in closing loopholes for corruption and enhancing Thailand's image in terms of transparency and anti-corruption efforts.

The event also featured activities and presentations from partner organizations, including:

•A lecture titled “Corporate Governance and Public-Private Cooperation in Anti-Corruption” by a representative of the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD)

•A panel discussion on “Pathway to Transparency: Building Sustainable Business through Integrity and Anti-Corruption”, featuring representatives from the UN Global Compact Network Thailand (UNGCNT) and the private sector

•A discussion on “Transparency Standards for Private Sector Contractors: Requirements under Article 19 and Guidelines from the Anti-Corruption Cooperation Committee” by a representative from the Comptroller General’s Department

•An open forum for exchanging ideas and recommendations on strategies to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors in ongoing anti-corruption efforts.
