On June 4, 2025, at 10.00 A.M., the Secretary-General of the PACC, together with the PACC executive team, welcomed H.E. Mr. Elchin Ragub oglu Bashirov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Thailand, along with Mr. Adil Suleymanov, Counsellor, on the occasion of a courtesy visit and official discussions at the reception room on the 28th floor of the PACC Office

H.E. Mr. Elchin Ragub oglu Bashirov expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended by the PACC and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in preventing and combating corruption. He particularly highlighted the need to promote transparency and enhance the efficiency of public sector operations. Both parties agreed on the importance of utilizing information technology in public services to reduce human error, streamline processes, and minimize opportunities for corruption at various stages

On this occasion, the PACC affirmed its readiness to collaborate with the Republic of Azerbaijan on anti-corruption initiatives. The PACC also stated that should any future investments or projects in Thailand encounter instances of public officials soliciting improper benefits, such cases should be promptly reported to the PACC. This meeting reflected the shared commitment of both countries to strengthening good governance and fostering sustainable international cooperation in the fight against corruption.
