
PACC hosted the International Anti-Corruption Capacity Building Program through the Academic Cooperation between PACC and International Organizations (Batch 1)

On Monday, 26 May 2025, at 09.00 AM., Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of PACC, together with Ms. Wang Yien, Irene, Deputy Director of Academy at the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption, presided over the opening ceremony of The International Anti-Corruption Capacity Building Program through the Academic Cooperation between PACC and International Organizations (Batch 1) for the fiscal year 2025. The program aims to enhance the capacity and skills of personnel under the PACC, as well as those from partner agencies, including the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), and the Anti-Corruption Division of the Royal Thai Police (ACD). A total of 160 participants joined the event from 26 – 28 May 2025, held at the Grand Ballroom, 3rd Floor, Century Park Hotel, Bangkok.
This program was organized through the cooperation of the PACC, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), two globally recognized agencies in the fields of anti-corruption, law enforcement, and criminal justice.
The training activities included knowledge-sharing lectures, practical exercises, group discussions, and Q&A sessions on topics such as investigation, asset recovery, and law enforcement. These components aim to elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of investigative and enforcement processes, resulting in more concrete and measurable outcomes.
