On Thursday, 8 October 2026, Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (Office of the PACC) and Chair of the Working Group on Thailand’s OECD Accession, accompanied by Mr. Akkchai Kasemsuthawat and Pol.Lt.Col. Siripong Sritula, Deputy Secretaries-General of the PACC, and members of the PACC’s OECD Working Group, met with Pol. Gen. Permpoon Chidchob, Advisor to the Prime Minister; Mr. Paradorn Prissananantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office; and Ms. Rachada Dhnadirek, Assistant Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, to discuss progress in Thailand’s accession process to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The meeting was held in Meeting Room 302, 3rd Floor, Command Building 1, Government House, Dusit District, Bangkok.

The meeting focused on progress in developing the Public Integrity Indicators and preparations for the OECD delegation’s visit to Thailand for the Fact-Finding Meetings, scheduled for 19–20 October 2026, as part of the country’s OECD accession process.

The PACC also provided updates on the implementation of three resolutions adopted at the first meeting of the Subcommittee on Anti-Bribery and Public Sector Corruption Risk Management in 2026. These initiatives comprise enhancing hotel business licensing procedures to encourage operators to enter the formal system; strengthening public–private sector cooperation to mitigate corruption risks in government agencies; and advancing digital government services as a model for digital public service delivery. Progress across all three initiatives remains in line with the established implementation framework, with further expansion planned for certain initiatives to sustain momentum and strengthen implementation.
