Thursday, 24 September 2026, at 2:30 p.m. — Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), chaired a meeting to prepare for the upcoming visit of representatives from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for the Fact-Finding Meetings in support of Thailand’s OECD accession process. The meeting was attended by PACC executives and relevant officials from the Foreign Affairs Division, Secretariat Office, Strategy and Planning Division, Legal Division, Case Administration Division, Division of Corruption Prevention in Public Sector, and Anti-Corruption Administration Division at the PACC Office.

The meeting aimed to ensure a common understanding among PACC officials of the OECD accession process and to prepare relevant information and coordination arrangements for the Fact-Finding Meetings, scheduled to take place in Thailand in October 2026. The Fact-Finding Meetings will provide an opportunity for OECD representatives to gather and exchange information and gain a better understanding of Thailand’s laws, policies, and implementation in practice. The process is an important step in preparing Thailand for OECD membership and in promoting the enhancement of public-sector governance standards in line with international standards.
