On 14 September 2026, Mr. Paradorn Prissananantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, chaired the 1st/2026 Meeting of the Subcommittee on Public-Sector Anti-Bribery and Corruption Risk Management under the Coordinating Committee for Anti-Corruption (CAC). Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), attended the meeting in his capacity as a member and secretary of the Subcommittee, together with representatives from relevant agencies, at Government House, Bangkok.

The meeting agreed on three key priorities to strengthen transparency and reduce corruption risks in public services. First, it supported the digitalisation of Phuket’s hotel licensing process through the Ministry of Interior’s DOPA iService, with the aim of reducing discretion and simplifying approval procedures. Second, the PACC and the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) were assigned to apply recommendations of the OECD Public Governance Committee (PGC) to improve administrative processes in four pilot agencies: The Department of Business Development, Department of Intellectual Property, Department of Internal Trade, and Department of Land Transport.

Third, the PACC and the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) were tasked with advancing the “Jang Rath” system through the “Thang Rath” application, initially in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The initiative covered five types of public agencies and preparations for 2,997 locals administrative organisations to transition towards a single digital service platform. In addition, 15 Land Office branches in the EEC were designated for upgrading under the Government Easy Contact Center (GECC) standards and the Sriracha Model.

These initiatives reflected the Government’s efforts to simplify public services, expand the use of digital technology, reduce unnecessary face-to-face interactions with officials, and strengthen good governance, with the broader objective of enhancing transparency and public confidence.
