On Wednesday, 8 July 2026, at 8.30 a.m., the Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) assigned Mr. Chonsawat Prasatkhrukan, Director of Division of Corruption Prevention in Public Sector, to represent the Office of the PACC in a joint initiative with Mr. Monthien Charoenphon, Auditor General of the State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand (SAO), and Ms. Ladda Duansawang, Director of the Corruption Prevention Measures Bureau of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

The three agencies conducted an integrated monitoring and corruption risk surveillance mission for large-scale government investment projects with budgets exceeding THB 1 billion. The mission focused on two projects implemented by the Customs Department:

1. The CCTV System and Technology Leasing Project for Customs Control; and

2. The Procurement Project for the Replacement and Expansion of X-ray Container Inspection Systems.

The integrated monitoring and surveillance initiative aims to provide consultation and recommendations on the efficient and prudent use of public expenditure for major government projects. It also seeks to strengthen safeguards against corruption and potential project losses, while promoting transparency, accountability, value for money, and the effective implementation of government investment projects to ensure that they deliver the greatest possible benefits to the public.
