On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, at 2.00 p.m., Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the PACC, participated in a discussion with Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand. The discussion took place during the special program “Bridging Gaps, Preventing Corruption: Identifying Risks Before Corruption Occurs (Corruption Risk Assessment)”, which was broadcast via Nation TV's YouTube channel and the PACC Corporate Communication Facebook page. The session was hosted by Mr. Bakban Boonlert, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of Nation Group and Chairman of Thansettakij Multimedia Co., Ltd., and Mr.Veerasak Pongaksorn, Executive Editor of Nation Group. Furthermore, executives and officials from the Office of the PACC also attended the event at Nation TV, 1st Floor, Debaratna Road, Bang Na Tai Subdistrict, Bang Na District, Bangkok.

The event was organized by the Risk Management and Public Sector Corruption Interception Group, Division of Corruption Prevention in Public Sector, the office of the PACC. Its objective was to publicize information regarding corruption risk assessments in government agencies and to raise awareness about corruption problems that impacted national development in all dimensions. On this occasion, the Secretary-General of the PACC emphasized a paradigm shift in the PACC's operations, moving beyond a sole focus on post-incident enforcement and suppression. Greater emphasis is now placed on preventing corruption and closing loopholes that may create opportunities for misconduct within public sector agencies. This is achieved through the application of technology and Big Data systems to enhance monitoring and detection, as well as through regulatory reforms aimed at reducing officials’ discretionary powers, which is considered one of the key factors in minimizing opportunities for corruption.
